Aniimo tier list FAQ
Who is the best Aniimo in Aniimo?
Besauce, Fulmintis, Helion, Lunara and Somniwing sit at the top of our Aniimo tier list. Fulmintis is the only Aniimo every source puts in its top tier. Helion, Lunara and Besauce are top tier on all three Japanese sites, while Mobalytics rates them lower.
Which Aniimo should I build first?
Fulmintis is the safest Aniimo to invest in: every source has it in its top tier, and it carries fights on its own. Helion or Lunara, your Light starter, is the other strong carry early on; give it a healer. Also worth building: Somniwing, keeps the whole team’s energy topped up in any team; Glacy, a simple, strong team healer.
What do the tiers mean?
SS: carries any team and is worth building first. S: excellent, a core pick for most teams. A: strong in the right team or with investment. B: usable, but outclassed by higher tiers for now. C: niche; build only if you like the Aniimo. Tiers rate the basic form of each Aniimo at its final evolution in combat. Prismana and weather or area forms share most of the kit and can rate higher on some sites.
How is this tier list made?
We compare the current rankings of 4 established strategy sites (Game8, GameWith, AppMedia and Mobalytics), all rating the same thing: basic forms at final evolution, combat. Each Aniimo gets the middle rating of the 4. When the sites disagree by two tiers or more, we show each site's rating instead of hiding it. We re-check after every new Aniimo or balance patch.
Does this tier list include Prismana forms?
No. It ranks the basic form of each Aniimo at its final evolution. Prismana and weather or area forms keep most of the same kit, and some sites rank them higher, but the sources do not yet rate them the same way, so we leave them out for now.
Why is a new Aniimo missing?
An Aniimo appears once at least two of our sources rate it, and gets a tier once three do. Aniimo added in Season 1 Part 2 on 29 October are still being rated, so they will be added after the sources update.
Why do the sources disagree so often on Aniimo?
The three Japanese sites rank Aniimo for general combat, while Mobalytics places each one by its best-performing role. The biggest gaps are the Light starters: Helion and Lunara are top tier on every Japanese site, but Mobalytics calls Helion safe with no standout mechanic and rates it B.
Which Aniimo do the sources disagree on?
The sources are two or more tiers apart on Besauce, Blazen, Bouldus, Cornet, Eklue, Geoclaw, Glynsera, Gracewing, Grizbo, Helgon, Helion, Hexxin, Ignitis, Infergon, Irisal, Leafy, Luminelle, Lunara, Magmarex, Melloblum, Minespine, Panpanta, Pawney, Pomawk, Rookey, Scorchhowl, Sherro, Shrubclaw, Stellarys, Turbo and Waleetle. Their place on our Aniimo tier list is the middle rating, and each Aniimo's note shows every site's rating.
