Summary of these terms of use

These terms of use apply to everyone who visits GameTierList. In short: the site is free and fan-made, game names and art belong to their owners, our rankings are a guide rather than a guarantee, and tier lists you make are yours. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About this site

GameTierList is an independent, fan-made site that publishes tier lists for new games. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game developer or publisher. The site is free to use and does not require an account.

Game names, images and trademarks

Game titles, character names, character images, logos and other game assets are trademarks and copyrighted material of their respective owners. They are used here only to identify the games and characters being discussed. If you own any of this material and want it changed or removed, contact us and we will act on it promptly, usually within a few days.

Our content

The text, rankings and layout of GameTierList are our own work. You may quote short parts and link to any page. Please do not copy whole pages or republish our rankings as your own. If you use our rankings in a video, stream or article, a link back to the page is appreciated, so your viewers can see the latest version.

Rankings and game information

Our tier lists summarise the rankings of several established strategy sites together with official skill data, and are written in our own words. Games change often, so a ranking can be out of date or wrong. Every page shows the date it was last checked. Use the information at your own judgement; we are not responsible for in-game decisions or purchases made based on it. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will check it.

Tier lists you make

The tier list maker runs in your browser. Lists you make are kept in the page address and the images you save; we do not store them. You may share them freely, including on social media and in videos.

Corrections and removal requests

We want every ranking to be accurate and every image to be used fairly. If you think a character is in the wrong tier, a number in a note is wrong, or a page uses material you own, email us with the page address and what should change. We check ranking reports against the current sources at the next update, and we handle rights requests first, usually within a few days. We may reply to ask for details, but we do not need any personal information beyond your email address.

Acceptable use

Do not try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or use it for anything unlawful. We may block access from sources that do.

Advertising and links

The site may show advertising and link to other sites. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of other sites or advertisers.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without any warranty. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be correct, complete or online. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the site means you accept it.
