Our Make Drama MAD tier list ranks 47 of the 49 characters. Ines, Charlotte, Victoria, Yuria and Estelle are the strongest characters on every source. The best tanks and healers are low rarity, so pull for damage dealers and Charlotte.
Victoria is the safest reroll target: every source has her in its top tier, and she clears both waves and bosses. Charlotte is the other good start, because her Attack buff helps any team. Do not reroll for tanks or healers; the best ones are 1★ and 2★.
Also goodCharlotte
raises the whole team’s Attack and fits any team.
Also goodEstelle
the best single-target damage for bosses.
Good starting teams
VictoriaCharlotteInes
Charlotte’s Attack buff makes Victoria hit much harder, and Ines keeps the team alive.
JennieRonaLumina
low-rarity core: Jennie and Rona stack shields in the front row and Lumina heals; you get all three from normal pulls.
Make Drama MAD tier list explained
SS tier — Must pull
Ines
Passion · 3★ · Back row · Supporter
The strongest healer: a big single-target heal on Skill 2, plus a team heal and a lasting healing zone on her Burst.
Her Charm disrupts enemies and raises her own Healing Power.
1★ Lumina and 2★ Lucia heal almost as well early on, so she is a bonus rather than a reroll target.
Charlotte
Will · 3★ · Middle row · Supporter
Raises the whole team’s Attack by a share of her own, and enemies cannot remove the buff.
Skill 1 stuns, and she fits next to almost any damage dealer.
Victoria
Will · 3★ · Middle row · DPS
Her Burst stacks Heavenly Taste: she loses a little HP each second but gains a lot of Attack and crit chance.
Clears waves fast and handles stages above her level, best next to Charlotte.
Yuria
Drive · 3★ · Middle row · DPS
Skill 2 marks a target that her tentacles then hit again and again.
Her Burst pins one enemy and summons more tentacles, which is strong against tanky bosses.
Estelle
Will · 3★ · Front row · DPS
The highest single-target burst: her Burst raises her Attack and gives her next hits an 80 to 85% crit chance.
A front-row damage dealer built around her follow-up skills.
S tier — Top tier
Bianca
Reason · 3★ · Front row · DPS
A front-row damage dealer who starts each fight with a shield and jumps to the back line with Skill 1.
Every kill heals her and readies the next jump, so she snowballs through waves.
Lumina
Reason · 1★ · Middle row · Supporter
A 1★ healer with very high single-target heals and a shield for low-HP allies.
Easy to get, and a strong second healer.
Mane
Reason · 2★ · Middle row · DPS
A 2★ damage dealer with strong multi-hit skills, much stronger with element advantage.
Common enough to lead an early team.
Jennie
Will · 2★ · Front row · Tank
A 2★ tank with strong shields, crit resistance and a Burst that stuns nearby enemies.
Does not need dupes to hold the front row.
Rona
Will · 1★ · Front row · Tank
A 1★ tank who builds Defense from every shield and has a long-lasting Burst shield.
Pairs well with Jennie in the front row.
Sources disagree
Loot & Waifus S · Twinfinite A · Power Up Gaming S · Gamezebo SS
Gamezebo ranks her with the best units because she holds the front row at 1★; Twinfinite puts her a tier below the other top tanks.
Lafine
Drive · 3★ · Middle row · Supporter
Gives the top damage dealer a big Crit Damage boost.
Her Burst gives the team evasion and removes their debuffs.
Lucia
Drive · 2★ · Middle row · Supporter
A 2★ healer with strong single-target heals and a team heal on her Burst.
Also strips enemy heal-over-time effects.
A tier — Strong
Oblia
Passion · 3★ · Back row · DPS
Summons up to five untargetable drones while she stays safe in the back row.
The drones pick targets at random, so her damage is less steady.
Kage
Will · 1★ · Middle row · Supporter
A 1★ support who heals, cleanses and buffs, and blocks the next debuff on an ally.
Flexible, but does not fully replace the top healers or buffers.
Casey
Passion · 3★ · Middle row · DPS
Very high crit damage when her shots land on marked targets.
Brings only damage, and her output swings more than the top damage dealers.
Sophia
Passion · 2★ · Back row · Supporter
A 2★ healer with team healing and steady recovery.
Heals less than Lucia or Lumina.
Dan Xi
Will · 2★ · Back row · DPS
Marks an enemy so the team’s crits deal extra damage to it, and lowers its Crit Resistance.
Strong in crit teams, average elsewhere.
Marcia
Will · 2★ · Front row · Tank
A control tank: Skill 2 knocks back a group and her Burst cuts enemy accuracy.
Fragile for a tank and adds little damage.
Reanna
Will · 1★ · Middle row · Supporter
A 1★ buffer who raises the Attack of the two strongest allies and the team’s crit chance.
The budget pick when you do not have Charlotte.
Chise
Drive · 3★ · Front row · DPS
Finishes low-HP enemies and gets free hits on each kill.
Weak against bosses at full HP.
Eileen
Drive · 1★ · Front row · Tank
A 1★ tank who heals herself each wave and cuts enemy accuracy.
Takes less damage during her Burst, but cannot shield the team.
B tier — Usable
Freya
Reason · 2★ · Middle row · DPS
A mobile damage dealer with solid early damage.
Falls off from the middle of the game.
Theta
Reason · 1★ · Front row · Tank
A 1★ front-row tank with a stun.
Low damage, and needs to take many hits to work well.
Emily
Passion · 2★ · Middle row · DPS
A plain damage dealer with no extra utility.
Kouchou
Passion · 2★ · Middle row · DPS
Stacks up damage with Contact Blade.
Needs a lot of setup before her damage is good.
Midwen
Passion · 3★ · Front row · Tank
A 3★ tank who can charm enemies.
Low damage and poor scaling.
Sir Romance
Will · 1★ · Middle row · DPS
Her crit chance rises the longer she attacks.
Her Burst only has a 50% chance to hit.
Suji
Will · 3★ · Back row · Supporter
Has several heals, but they only help low-HP allies.
Hari
Drive · 2★ · Middle row · Supporter
Silences enemies, and does little else.
Mio
Drive · 2★ · Front row · Tank
Buffs allies, mainly in teams built around the front row.
Shizuku
Drive · 1★ · Middle row · DPS
Ramps up damage quickly and applies poison.
Still behind the top damage dealers.
C tier — Niche
Claire (Swimsuit)
Reason · 3★ · Front row · DPS
Can shield allies, but brings little else.
Elisia
Reason · 3★ · Back row · DPS
Can silence enemies, but only once they are very low on HP.
Given free as a global pre-registration reward.

Gin
Reason · 1★ · Middle row · DPS
Applies burn, but all of her damage comes over time.
Kasa
Reason · 2★ · Back row · Supporter
A varied kit that scales badly.
Mane (Swimsuit)
Reason · 3★ · Middle row · Supporter
A 3★ support version of Mane; the original 2★ Mane is far more useful.
Valentina

A mobile damage dealer who can stun.
Low damage and no other utility.

Every hit is a critical hit, but her damage scales badly.
Rana
Drive · 3★ · Back row · Supporter
Mixes damage and healing, but her Burst is one of the weakest.
Sera
Drive · 1★ · Back row · Tank
Shields allies only after they have been healed, and has no heal of her own.

Make Drama MAD tier list FAQ
Who is the best character in Make Drama MAD?
Ines, Charlotte, Victoria, Yuria and Estelle sit at the top of our Make Drama MAD tier list. Ines, Charlotte, Victoria, Yuria and Estelle are the strongest characters on every source. The best tanks and healers are low rarity, so pull for damage dealers and Charlotte.
Who should I reroll for in Make Drama MAD?
Victoria is the safest reroll target: every source has her in its top tier, and she clears both waves and bosses. Charlotte is the other good start, because her Attack buff helps any team. Do not reroll for tanks or healers; the best ones are 1★ and 2★. Also good: Charlotte, raises the whole team’s Attack and fits any team; Estelle, the best single-target damage for bosses.
What do the tiers mean?
SS: carries any team and is worth building first. S: excellent, a core pick for most teams. A: strong in the right team or with investment. B: usable, but outclassed by higher tiers for now. C: niche; build only if you like the character. Tiers rate characters on overall PvE use. Hitting the element a character beats adds 30% damage, so a lower-tier character with the right element can still carry a stage.
How is this tier list made?
We compare the current rankings of 4 established strategy sites (Loot & Waifus, Twinfinite, Power Up Gaming and Gamezebo), all rating the same thing: all characters, overall PvE use. Each character gets the middle rating of the 4. When the sites disagree by two tiers or more, we show each site's rating instead of hiding it. We re-check after every new character or balance patch.
Which version is this tier list for?
The global version that launched on 8 October 2026. It runs the same build as the Korean release from June 2026, so it has the same characters; all four sources rate the global version.
Why are Isabel and Halloween Kouchou not ranked yet?
They came out after most guides were written: Isabel’s limited banner ran from 8 to 21 October, and Halloween Kouchou is on her banner until 4 November. Fewer than three of our sources rank them so far, so we list them as pending until they do.
Are low-rarity characters worth using?
Yes. The best tanks, Jennie (2★) and Rona (1★), and two of the best healers, Lumina (1★) and Lucia (2★), are low rarity, and 2★ Mane is a strong damage dealer. Spend your pulls on 3★ damage dealers and Charlotte instead.
Which characters do the sources disagree on?
The sources are two or more tiers apart on Rona, Elisia, Valentina and Aronne. Rona: Gamezebo ranks her with the best units because she holds the front row at 1★; Twinfinite puts her a tier below the other top tanks. Elisia: Gamezebo rates her as a usable 3★ back-row damage dealer; the other three sites put her in their lowest tier. Valentina: Gamezebo rates her as a usable 3★ back-row damage dealer; the other three sites put her in their lowest tier. Aronne: Gamezebo rates her summons highly; the other three sites put her in their lowest tier because she scales poorly. Their place on our Make Drama MAD tier list is the middle rating, and each character's note shows every site's rating.
When will this tier list be updated?
It was last checked on Oct 30, 2026, against the global launch version on the Global server. The next full check is at the end of the Halloween Kouchou banner (4 November), and we also re-check whenever a new character is released. The checked date at the top of the page always shows how current the ranking is.
