Stella Sora tier list FAQ

Who is the best character in Stella Sora?

F. Noya and Fuyuka sit at the top of our Stella Sora tier list. Firstlight Noya and Fuyuka are the best mains right now; Suntide Willow, Snowish Laru and Nazuna lead the supports.

Who should I reroll for in Stella Sora?

Nazuna is a reroll pick on both Japanese guides: a standard Terra supporter you can pull at any time, who makes the enemy take more Terra damage. Teams of one element are the strongest, so reroll for characters that share an element. Also good: Gerie, a Terra attacker who pairs with Nazuna for a full Terra team; Karin, a strong standard Umbra attacker.

What do the tiers mean?

SS: carries any team and is worth building first. S: excellent, a core pick for most teams. A: strong in the right team or with investment. B: usable, but outclassed by higher tiers for now. C: niche; build only if you like the character. Main and support are rated separately: the main is the character you control, supports fight from the backline slots. Teams of one element are the strongest, so a character is worth most next to others of their element.

How is this tier list made?

We compare the current rankings of 3 established strategy sites (Game8, AppMedia and Kaiden), all rating the same thing: each character as the main you control; and each character in a support slot. Each character gets the middle rating of the 3. When the sites disagree by two tiers or more, we show each site's rating instead of hiding it. We re-check after every new character or balance patch.

Why are there two Stella Sora tier lists?

Each character can be your main or fill one of two support slots, and many are much better in one role than the other. Fuyuka, for example, is a top main but a weak support. Both Japanese guides rank the two roles separately, so we do too.

Which characters do the sources disagree on?

The sources are two or more tiers apart on Firenze, Caramel, Mistique, Chixia, Iris, Canace, Jinglin and Ridge. Firenze: Kaiden ranks her near the top for her shadow servants; AppMedia ranks her a step lower than Game8. Caramel: Game8 rates her as a usable 4★ main; AppMedia puts her in its lowest tier. Mistique: Kaiden rates her summons highly in a support slot; Game8 ranks her support role B. Chixia: AppMedia rates her damage and crit buffs as a top Ignis support; Game8 ranks her B. Iris: AppMedia values her grouping and freeze talents; Game8 ranks her B. Canace: AppMedia likes her flower crown support skill against groups; Game8 ranks her C. Jinglin: AppMedia rates her frequent Lux marks; Game8 ranks her C. Ridge: AppMedia rates her seed bombs for frequent Terra marks; Game8 ranks her C. Their place on our Stella Sora tier list is the middle rating, and each character's note shows every site's rating.

When will this tier list be updated?

It was last checked on Oct 30, 2026, against the 1st anniversary version on the Global server. The next full check is at the next limited character banner, and we also re-check whenever a new character is released. The checked date at the top of the page always shows how current the ranking is.
